HitItOff.net is a dating website we built and continue to maintain as a testbed for new programming techniques. The website offers many features to allow users to find suitable matches for dating or relationships.

Searches can be performed by a large number of criteria and they can be saved easily for quick access later.

The site's distance-based searching makes use of a database of all the cities in the world so that the searches are not limited by country or state boundaries.

Interactive Solutions

All image uploads are auto-resized and thumbnails are generated automatically to ensure users' profile pictures always look their best.

Users also have the ability to enable or disable an "Adult Filter" which lets them dictate whether pictures or text with adult content will appear on the site.

We also built a firewall-friendly instant messaging application into the website and a community bulletin-board to allow users to communicate.
