Initial Situation:
CollegeCal was a fully functional website when we took the project on. The client wanted to take the application to the next level to include 'coolness' like drag and drop management of events. Click and drag a time block to add a new event, etc...
Our Role:
N-VisionIT Interactive was the sole supplier for this project. All tasks including project management, analysis of business flow and system requirements, design, development, and implementation of the system were completed by us.
N-VisionIT Interactive Solutions:
This calendar makes great use of current, hot technologies like AJAX and SMS texting. Through AJAX/JavaScript, we allow the user to drag events around the calendar and to add events dynamically into it. Our development allows the calendar to feel dynamic and to function quickly and efficiently for the user.
Results:
The client is extremely happy with the end result of the calendar and how smoothly it functions.

The CollegeCal application is a web-based calendar for the professors and students of high schools and colleges. This application is a direct competitor with Google Calendar and possesses similar functionalities including drag and drop functionality. It maintains classes, assignments, clubs/group events, and also personal events which are submitted by each user.
