MoodMusic is an application for Facebook that allows users to upload songs that best represent their current mood. Friends who also use the application can listen to these songs and share their own. Each user can listen to each of their friend's songs once (due to licensing rules) and purchase any songs they like through iTunes. They can also listen to the songs of any other user of the application to experience even more new music in the process. The intention this project was to create a portable version of the Facebook application for the iPhone. It would include simplified features; allowing users to connect to their Facebook account to play their friends songs and buy them from iTunes directly.

Initial Situation

MoodMusic approached us with a concept and plans for how to monetize this application. They needed help fleshing out the details and building from scratch; along with advice on how best to expand their idea to grow a user base.

Our Role

N-VisionIT Interactive is the sole supplier for this project. All tasks including project management, analysis of business flow and system requirements, design, development, and implementation of the system were completed by us.

Interactive Solutions

We built the application to interface directly with the user's Facebook account (via Facebook Connect) to load in their friends and song list so that they can listen to their play list on the go.
