WHAT'S UP?
Initial Situation:
We were looking to expand our knowledge of the Facebook API and leverage the new mobile platform that they provided. This application provides Twitter like functionality, but was created prior to Twitter being as well known and popular as it is today.
Our Role:
N-VisionIT Interactive was the sole supplier for this project. All tasks including project management, analysis of business flow and system requirements, design, development, and implementation of the system were completed by us.
N-VisionIT Interactive Solutions:
Leveraging the Facebook Mobile API, the application allows users to visit the application with their cellphone and write short, text like messages, updating their Facebook status to let their friends know what they are doing or where they are.
Results:
Prior to Facebook allowing users to update their status with their cellphone and the emergence of Twitter, the application was highly successful providing similar functionalities.
This started as a small idea and quickly grew. It has been completed quickly and within estimated cost. In a short amount of time we went from having nothing to an entire blogging site. Thanks again!
