Intermediate/Senior PHP developer

Skills Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years (5 or more preferred) of experience in web development required, preferably PHP.
• Experience in front end website programming using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX
• Must have at least 5 years experience working through the design, development, and release cycle delivering applications to market.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Be able to excel in idea generation, evaluation and prioritization.
• Experience solving complex and large-scare software problems.
• A record of successful delivery of web applications and/or software systems as an individual or as a key player within a team.
• A willingness to dive into, learn and master new technologies and frameworks and solve technical issues as part of maintaining the skills necessary to manage and advocate products and projects.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done.
• Excellent written and oral communications.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

• Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills are a tremendous asset.
• Large/enterprise application development experience
• Experience building content managed websites with web application frameworks (Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress).
• Project management experience desired.
• Test Driven Development, MVC models, and Agile Methodology an asset.
